On 21 or 22 October, you may have received an email from Vinted with a suspicious message and links. That message wasn’t from us. A malicious actor misused one of our forms to send it as a phishing attempt.

As soon as we became aware, our teams took action to stop it. They didn’t get your email address from Vinted. They most likely found it elsewhere online.

If you believe you received this email or encountered other phishing attempts:

  • Don’t click any links in the email.

  • Never share your personal or bank details through links in any suspicious emails.

  • If you’ve shared your card details, block your card and contact your bank right away.

  • If you’ve shared other personal details, watch out for suspicious emails, messages, or calls.

Vinted will never ask for your personal or bank details via SMS or external links. To learn how to recognise phishing messages, visit our Help Centre guide.
