Changes to Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Dear Google user,

We're getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that's a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

We believe this stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at http://www.google.com/policies. These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

One policy, one Google experience
Easy to work across Google Tailored for you Easy to share and collaborate
Easy to work across Google

Our new policy reflects a single product experience that does what you need, when you want it to. Whether you're reading an email that reminds you to schedule a family get-together or finding a favorite video that you want to share, we want to ensure you can move across Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube, or whatever your life calls for with ease.

Tailored for you

If you're signed into Google, we can do things like suggest search queries – or tailor your search results – based on the interests you've expressed in Google+, Gmail, and YouTube. We'll better understand which version of Pink or Jaguar you're searching for and get you those results faster.

Easy to share and collaborate

When you post or create a document online, you often want others to see and contribute. By remembering the contact information of the people you want to share with, we make it easy for you to share in any Google product or service with minimal clicks and errors.

Protecting your privacy hasn't changed

Our goal is to provide you with as much transparency and choice as possible, through products like Google Dashboard and Ads Preferences Manager, alongside other tools. Our privacy principles remain unchanged. And we'll never sell your personal information or share it without your permission (other than rare circumstances like valid legal requests).

Got questions?
We've got answers.

Visit our FAQ at http://www.google.com/policies/faq to read more about the changes. (We figured our users might have a question or twenty-two.)

Notice of Change

March 1, 2012 is when the new Privacy Policy and Terms will come into effect. If you choose to keep using Google once the change occurs, you will be doing so under the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Please do not reply to this email. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered. Also, never enter your Google Account password after following a link in an email or chat to an untrusted site. Instead, go directly to the site, such as mail.google.com or www.google.com/accounts. Google will never email you to ask for your password or other sensitive information.

Re: Last Friday

Dear Nana and Pop-pop,
I would like to first begin by apologizing about Friday. I thought I was helping Sophia but I realize now that if it was her who was trying to help me, I wouldn't enjoy that much either. I should have listened to you to shut my mouth but instead my
own frustration took over me. I was upset later on when I was regretting my actions. When I am upset I have a very hard time controlling my emotions and during this time of the month in particular my hormones tend to go a little disproportional.
In addition, I would like to further apologize for my wanting to go home. I was still upset and the stress of school was beginning to pile up. I was again overreacting and saw that I
was visualizing more work than I needed to get done. There are many things I could have done that would have made the day more enjoyable but my own insanity prevented that from happening.
There is no need to worry about my mental well being. I
had low blood sugar which causes my brain to overreact.
Once again I am truly sorry for my actions and I wish
nothing more than for this to never happen again.
-Olivia

License Plates

Do you ever drive around Phoenix and notice the interesting license plates? Just in a trip from 32nd street and cactus to 27th ave. I saw a dodge with L8AGAN. Perfect for some of my friends. Then I saw a Honda with POOH4ME. Not real sure if that means they like Winnie the Pooh or they have some real issues about themselves. I decided to head home when I saw a plate that said BLACKOUT. No, I do not want to be on the road with someone that might blackout at anytime.

I WANT A REAL PERSON!!!!!

I got a bill from Directv and I was billed for something I did not order. I called the 800 number that you get a recording asking if you want English or Spanish. Then you get to tell them your phone number which the recording can't understand half the time. After three attempts I get to hear all about my bill how much I owe and how do I want to pay. Then if you want you get to go back to the main menu which starts you all over with your phone number. I tried yelling I Want A Real Person. But nothing happened. So I got smart after calling four times. I called the number for ordering new service or adding to your service. The Dummy on this line got my number right on the first try and A REAL PERSON got on the line. I said, You are a Real Person! She said yes I am how can I help you? I told her what I wanted and she could not help me and said She had to transfer me To billing. I got another real person who started telling me how much I owed again. I stopped him saying ,I KNOW what I owe, but I did not order league pass and I am being charged. Then he wants to know who I am since the bill is in my Husbands name. I am his wife of 38 years and I pay the bill. He tells me that since we had league pass before it automatically goes back on the bill. Just take it off ,thank you ,Good bye.
Why can't we have real people anymore. I guess it is cheaper to use something that you only have to pay once when you buy it. But real people are so much more fun to deal with. And they can get hearing aides when they can't understand you or you can yell. Life just isn't what it use to be.
