instagram Freelance footwear designer Scott Warneke (@feelingofstoke) vowed he would skateboard every day of 2014. Now, Portland-Oregon-based Scott has not missed a single ride in over 700 days, overcoming the flu, snowstorms and a broken toe. "Even when I am sick, bummed out or tired, I instantly feel a little better stepping on my skateboard," the 26-year-old says. To hold himself accountable, Scott posts daily photographic proof. When riding solo, he uses his own invention, the Deck Dock, as a stand to take videos or timed photos. "It's made of recycled skateboard wood and is small enough to fit on my keychain," Scott says. He's filmed everywhere from Joshua Tree to the Brooklyn Bridge, but Scott prizes longevity over location. "I definitely want to make it to 1,000 days. That's the tentative goal."
